Study of Upshift Control Method by Estimation of Acceleration Waveform

Summary

Control that corrects the torque output deviation of shift clutches is required to suppress the shift-shock produced when automatic transmissions up-shift, and enhance product quality. Control technology was developed that serves this purpose by estimating and evaluating the vehicle acceleration waveform generated when shifting, from the variation in output shaft rotations, and then detecting the output deviation of clutch torque and performing learning correction based on that acceleration waveform.
