Article of Honda R&D Technical Review Vol.22 No.2
Summary
Using hybrid technology, the CR-Z realized a balance between addressing the environmental issues associated with fossil fuel consumption and offering the natural "joy of driving" an automobile. It was developed as a new-generation compact sports car based on the ground concept of a "Hybrid Cafe Racer."
The exterior design with a theme of "Advanced Sensual Bullet" expresses compactness, strength and an advanced feel. The interior design with a theme of "Smart Cockpit" expresses an advanced feel and sportiness that lets the driver concentrate on driving.
