The Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers (2018) Young Engineers Award

The Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers (2018) Young Engineers Award was given to Kei Ambo of Honda R&D Co., Ltd. Innovative Research Excellence, for his achievement “Development of wall-resolved LES criteria for a full-scale vehicle to predict aero-acoustic noise from the side-mirror.”


The award is given to an up-and-coming member of the Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers who made achievements mostly for technologies concerning machine industry or widely related to industrial society (development of new technologies, new products, new manufacturing methods, etc.).
